The Trek X-Caliber 9 is the top-end model in the X-Caliber family. It's a fully race-ready cross-country mountain bike built with parts designed to compete. A RockShox Judy Silver fork with remote lockout, a 1x12 Shimano XT/SLX drive train, and a wide-range cassette make it a great choice for fast singletrack riders who want a great bike that's ready to race straight out of the box. This is the perfect hardtail for you if you measure your rides in speed and distance and want a fast XC bike that will help you cover more trail in less time. This hardtail has competition-level parts that can give you an advantage on the trail.
The X-Caliber 9 is a great bike for someone who's just getting into serious racing: you get high-end XC parts on an incredible frame with enough cash left over for entry fees. There's nothing as sweet as a silent ride: the clutch rear derailleur prevents chain slap, even in the rough. The frame is fully compatible with higher-end parts, like race wheels and a dropper post, if you ever find the need to upgrade and the remote lockout lets you lock out the fork on flats without taking your hands off the bars.
At DASH, we've created a Cycle to Work enabled storefront which allows you to browse and order a range of items, all whilst benefitting from savings of 28-47%. The cost of items you order is split into 12 months and deducted from your gross (or pre-tax) salary, allowing you to save on income tax and national insurance contributions, which is called salary sacrifice. After 12 months, you'll be able to continue using your items at no extra cost.
We have a range of items, from bikes and e-bikes, to accessories (such as helmets and locks), bike parts and tools, clothing (including jackets, shorts, shoes, and everything in between), even pre-owned bikes. We work with a range of brands so there's sure to be something you like in stock.
Since we are a Cycle to Work scheme ourselves, we cannot accept vouchers from other scheme providers. If you would like to use DASH and already have a voucher, it might be worth speaking to your employer to see if they are able to refund it.
